J.J. Shah, director and chairman, has been an orthopedic surgeon and president and owner of Gwinnett Clinic, Ltd., in Lawrenceville, Georgia, a multi-practice group with over 30 licensed physicians in 13 locations, since 1984. He received his M.S. from the Baroda Medical College in India in 1978 and received his Georgia state medical license in 1983. Dr. Shah is licensed by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Vivian Wong, director and vice chairman, has been a real estate investor and developer for over thirty-two years and has developments throughout the Southeast. In 2001, Ms. Wong formed Pacific Gateway Capital, LLC, a company specializing in new United States/China trade including development of United States retail franchises in China and attracting Chinese investment to South Carolina. She is a co-founder and organizing director of Independence National Bank in Greenville, South Carolina. Ms. Wong currently resides in Greenville, South Carolina and is active in various charitable organizations and sits on several community boards and committees.
Mr. Crosby has been the owner of Bank Organization & Structure, LLC a bank consulting firm, since 1991 and has consulted with community banks since 1987. From 1987 to 1991, he was vice president of BEI Investments, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank Earnings International, a public consulting firm, and Director of Regulatory Relations for the U.S. Banking Alliance. From 1977 to 1987, he served as a National Bank Examiner wiht the Office of Comptroller of the Currency.
Mukund C. Raja
Mukund C. Raja, has served as one of our directors since August 2008. He has been an ear, nose and throat surgeon in Gwinnett County, Georgia since 1985. He received his M.S. from B.J. Medical College in India in 1977 and received his Georgia state medical license in 1984.
Sudhirkumar C. Patel
Sudhirkumar C. Patel, director, has been a practicing physician and partner of Carolina Internal Medicine in Greenville, South Carolina since 1990. Born in India, Dr. Patel graduated from the Baroda Medical College in India and completed his residency at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. In addition, Dr. Patel was an organizer and is a board member of Independence National Bank in Greenville, South Carolina. He currently resides in the Greenville, South Carolina area, and is actively involved with the Indian community in South Carolina. Dr. Patel is also a member of the Rotary Club of Greenville, the American College of Physicians, and the American Association of Indian Physicians.
Dr. Mahendra Shah is a practicing psychiatrist in the metro Atlanta area since 1993. He is the founder of the group practice-Metro Behavioral Care, LLC. He has served as Medical Director of Adult and Geriatric Psychiatric programs at various hospitals in and around the Atlanta area. In the process, he has won many awards from colleagues and hospital staff for his leadership and organizational skills. He is a life member of IAPA (Indo American Psychiatric Association). GAPI (Georgia Association of Physicians of Indian Heritage) and AAPI (American Association of Physicians from India). He is the recipient of the Outstanding Service Award by IAPA at the annual meeting of the American Psychiatric Association in May 2014. He is also a past director and an active member of BAPS Medical Services, Inc., a non-profit, volunteer organization.
Meena J. Shah
Meena J. Shah, director, is an owner of Gwinnett Clinic, Ltd., in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where she has practiced family medicine and has been medical director for over 22 years. She obtained her M.D. in 1978 from the Baroda Medical College in India and completed her residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia.
Jorge L. Forment joined Touchmark National Bank and its parent company Touchmark Bancshares, Inc. as its Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer in July 2010. He was named President and CEO in July 2013. Mr. Forment has over 30 years of banking experience in the community bank arena. Prior to joining Touchmark National Bank, Mr. Forment served as President & Chief Executive Officer of a community bank for 10 years and previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for two community banks in North Georgia. He started his banking career as a National Bank Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.Mr. Forment graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and received a Certified Professional Banker designation from the Graduate School of Banking for Community Bank Management from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia.
