Touchmark National Bank celebrates one year of exemplary bank service on Jan. 28, 2009.
In its inaugural year of operation, Touchmark has accomplished much, despite one of the most nationally-challenging years in banking history.
• In January 2008, Touchmark received regulatory approval and opened for business at its Norcross, Ga. headquarters.
• On Mar. 10, the company opened its Abbotts Bridge Branch in Duluth, Ga. The Abbotts Bridge Branch is managed by Debbie Dill.
• On May 21, Touchmark conducted its first shareholders’ meeting, held at the Atlanta Athletic Club.
• On Oct. 15, the Peachtree Pavilion Branch opened in Doraville, Ga. The Doraville branch is managed by Vitra Darden.
• Touchmark completed successful safety and soundness examinations by both the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and the Federal Reserve during the fourth quarter of 2008.
• Through the course of the past year, the company assembled a talented team of 20 bankers with more than 275 years of combined banking experience.
• Touchmark finished December in a strong financial position with several hundred valuable clients.
Having completed one of Georgia’s largest-ever community bank capital campaigns in 2008, Touchmark National Bank remains positioned for success throughout 2009.
